mean mean - rock n roll machine

Coal Miner’s daughter makes rock and roll medicine out of the blue collar blues…

Alabama Rose (born Brittany Reshelle Ayres) is no stranger to hard work. Born on Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA - just two hours from sprawling San Jose - Rose’s parents relocated to their home state of Alabama when Rose was just a child. Following a rocky divorce when she was five, Rose’s mother remarried to a legacy coal miner, moving her four children to a small trailer on the banks of the Warrior River in Quinton, AL.

It was there in the small, remote region of Alabama that Rose started to develop the work ethic and personality that has helped her connect with fans across the United States. Boasting a powerful voice reminiscent of Tina Turner and Grace Slick, and fronting a band of seasoned players from Nashville, Atlanta, and Birmingham, Rose creates music that celebrates working class families like those she grew up in, while hinting towards an impressive understanding of the highs and lows of life inself.
